Run 4 Her Life To Raise Money For Cancer Reseach

On October 18, 2009, the annual Run 4 Her Life 5k and 10k Run/Walk was held at The Americana at Brand shopping center in Glendale, California, and My Teen Topix was there to cover the day. The money raised from the event went to support the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Centre and breast cancer research. The grueling races began early in the morning, before the day got too warm and finished by 10:00 AM.

The event was terrific fun and included a health fair, and an incredible concert after party that included the celebrated Grammy Award winning singer Mya, who can currently be seen on the popular ABC show, Dancing With The Stars!  Not only did Mya perform, but so did  pop star Jordan Johnson, singer Lili Hayden, piano-pop band The Quiet and keyboardist/singer Margie Hauser.

Mya Excites the Crowd at Run 4 Her Life While Raising Money for Cancer Research

You know Mya, that marvelous R&B singer? Well I saw her perform at the Run 4 Her Life concert. She sang to raise money for breast cancer research and trust me, she was amazing.  Not only is Mya a singer, she is a dancer, actress, model and a current contestant on Dancing With the Stars! The many-talented Mya has already won a Grammy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.  Mya felt very passionate about this event because her own mother is a cancer survivor. p.s. Jordan Johnson Rocks "Run 4 Her Life"

OMG guess what??!!!!  Last Sunday, I got to see Jordan Johnson perform at the annual Run 4 Her Life breast cancer charity run and concert in Glendale California. Wait there's more, Jordan Johnson has performed with soooo many awesome people like the Jonas Bros, Britney Spears, Hillary Duff, the Cheetah Girls , and even Click 5.
