It's All In The G.A.M.E.

Jennifer Pastiloff-Taleghany is an amazing woman.  Those regular readers of My Teen Topix, will remember that for her wedding, she asked her friends not to give her and her husband Robert wedding gifts, but instead to donate what they would have spent in wedding presents to to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief fund.

So what does Jennifer do for her birthday?   She starts a new non-profit charity called G.A. M.E. (Gifts And Miracles Everyday), in order to bring  free yoga training to children with special needs.  Earlier this month, to kick off this wonderful gift to children, a party and raffle was held at the Lululemon Beverly Hills, a store dedicated to yoga-inspired athletic apparel.  The well attended event was a joyous tribute to Jennifer's dedication to children and especially her commitment to kids with special needs.  Jennifer attributes the spark of the idea for G.A.M.E. to her nephew, Blaise.  Blaise is a handsome and very sweet young boy who was born with Prader Willi Syndrome. This rare genetic disorder that affects the 15th chromosome and is marked by numerous medical problems, chief among them, being constant insatiable hunger.

In starting G.A.M.E., Jennifer hopes to bring further attention to Prader Willi Syndrome and to bring the joy of yoga to all children who who need  little happiness in their lives.  Happy Birthday Jen and good luck with G.A.M.E.
